CoilCaps

Introducing CoilCaps a quick and easy way to improve & customize the look of your engine bay!  I developed CoilCaps looking for a way to eliminate the sight of the red coil packs that were just too visible in when you looked under my hood.  I had spent soo much time and money highlighting the carbon fiber parts and overall blue, black and white color scheme of the car the red just jumped out at me.  At shows, on Instagram, I felt everywhere i would go people would ask me if I was going to do something about them so I did.  Shortly after making these and posting about them I got a flood of people asking where I got them.  When I explained they were something I made many asked how much to get there own.  So now after a few months of revising the design and testing to ensure the materials could withstand the heat I am happy to offer CoilCaps to other Audi / VW enthusiasts!

 

CoilCaps are available in sets of 4, 6, or 8.  All CoilCap sets are shipped in white so you can paint them to the desired color easily with high heat spray paint.  CoilCap orders will come with your choice of accents which are outlined below.  The price for the Coilcap set is as follows, each set includes the Coilcaps, you choice or accents, and shipping in the continental US.

  • Set of 6 CoilCaps with shipping is $60

  • Set of 8 CoilCaps with shipping is $72

postage will be required.


CoilCaps can be ordered with any of the following accents you choose. 

  • Raised Audi rings in white (also paintable)

  • Raised VM logo in white (also paintable)

  • Vinyl carbon fiber inlay with no logo

  • Vinyl carbon fiber inlay with cut out Audi rings

  • Vinyl carbon fiber inlay with cut out S4 logo

  • Vinyl carbon fiber inlay with cut out VM logo

CoilCap Fitment

CoilCaps have been tested with a number of Audi & VW applications.  Before ordering please ensure your car is on the list of the models below.  Also visually inspect your car to ensure you can install the CoilCaps and that nothing is directly attached or touching any of your coil packs as the use of custom engine covers, wiring, or other aftermarket pieces might effect the fitment of a CoilCap.

Installation

Installing the CoilCaps is very simple, you paint them the desired color, glue on your symbols, and just gently push them on over your coil packs.  
CoilCaps can easily be removed for maintenance or cleaning by simply pulling the sides out a bit and lifting them off your coil packs.  I strongly suggest checking fitment of your CoilCaps before you paint them, install the logos, or otherwise customize them. Some coil packs are slightly more snug than others so if your CoilCaps wiggle a bit you can also add a bit of 2 sided tape DO NOT glue CoilCaps to your coil packs!. On some V8 applications 1 of the CoilCaps will be pressed up against your oil cap.  Testing has shown that the Coilcap will not melt in this situation. However they can be more difficult to get on and off so you may want to consider cutting off the side of the Coilcap.  For more guidance on installation, removal, painting, or modification of your CoilCaps check my YouTube channel.

Returns and Warranty.  

I will happily provide a full refund of the set costs for any CoilCaps that are not used, painted, or otherwise modified, from the condition shipped.  However return shipping costs will be the customers responsibility as are any customs charges or taxes.  If your CoilCaps arrive damaged please contact me immediately and include photos and I will send a replacement as soon as possible.  It is critical you notify me of any damaged shipments quickly as a claim can't be processed with the shipper more than 72 hours after delivery.   CoilCaps come 30 day money back guarantee for any damage not associated with customization and if your CoilCaps deform or melt I will replace them for up to 1 year.  In any and all cases refunds will be minus any shipping charges and the return of damaged product is the customers responsibility.
